This course consists of 6 Units which have been created to assist primary care teams and others with the diagnosis, treatment, care and management of Alzheimer's Disease and other types of dementia including caregiver support. CMIEs available, see details below**. This course is available until June 2025.
Course is for Providers (MD, DO, NP, PA, SW for credit) and other healthcare providers.
Topics include General approach to cognitive complaints, dementia differential diagnosis, retirement from driving, caregiver support resources, prevention and management of dementia.
The courses were developed through a partnership between OneCare Vermont, the Department of Health Access, Blueprint, and the Vermont Department of Health.
