The Blueprint for Health wants to ensure all BP programs support equity and best care for all.
Over the last six months Blueprint for Health consulted with many internal and external partners, including Partners in Contraceptive Choice and Knowledge (PICCK), a program housed at Boston Medical Center. BP analyzed a list of names in the WHI leadership meeting and received feedback from BP Program Managers through conclusion of two surveys.
Dr. Saroyan took all that information to both Pat Jones and Secretary Samuelson for feedback, thoughts, and approval on the name change.
Blueprint for Health will now be referring to the program as the Pregnancy Intention Initiative. We will be working on changing our documents and website with the goal of September 2023.
