NCQA expresses our support for first responders, health care workers and essential employees who are on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic. We understand that normal operations have been disrupted in many communities, which could affect organizations’ ability to meet NCQA requirements.
In collaboration with Vermont Blueprint for Health, NCQA has extended the Recognition status of PCMH practices with Annual Reporting deadlines between March and December 2020. The adjusted deadlines now reflect an Annual Reporting date of December 1, 2020, and a Recognition End date of December 31, 2020.
If you and your organization are able to complete your evaluation following the original timeline, NCQA strongly encourages you to do so. We are conducting all business activities virtually and we will continue to provide account support and conduct evaluations. Please note that original anniversary dates will not change in 2021.
We know that your patients, staff and community are your highest priority during this time, and our goal is to support you as much as we can. NCQA is monitoring impacts to our customers and adjusting requirements as circumstances warrant.
