The Collaborative to Advance Mental Health Treatment and Substance Use Recovery for Everyone (CARE) announces 2025 conference to be held June 2 at Capital Plaza, Montpelier, VT.
The conference will include updates for treatment teams, a national plenary titled Substances of Concern and Emerging Substance Use Disorder Treatments in 2025 by Yngvild Olsen, Director of the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment of the Substance Use and Mental Health Services Administration.
The plenary session, Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Treatment in Primary and Specialty Care Settings, will be led by Dr. John M. Saroyan, Executive Director of the Vermont Blueprint for Health, and Dr. Christopher Lukonis, Consulting Medical Director of the Vermont Department of Health Division of Substance Use Programs.
Panel discussions, breakout sessions, a buffet lunch, and exhibitors round out the day's event.
