Alzheimer's Awareness Month & Upcoming Events

Each June, Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month is recognized as a time to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.

Here are some resources from the National Institute on Aging about caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease. Be sure to also view the Healthy People 2030 evidence-based resources related to dementias. Lastly, this new (April 2024) first-of-its-kind national directory supported by the John A. Hartford Foundation helps locate programs nearby to provide much-need information and support for family caregivers.
