The PHCOE on Dementia Risk Reduction invites the public health professionals to join them for an upcoming webinar series focusing on Social Determinates of Health (SDOH) and dementia risk.
Explore how public health professionals can leverage SDOH and to mitigate dementia risk and improve brain health.
During each one-hour webinar, participants will:
- Hear from experts about the link between SDOH and dementia risk, providing actionable insights.
- Gain invaluable perspectives from State and Local Health Department Leaders on integrating dementia risk reduction initiatives into comprehensive strategic plans.
- Learn to advocate for dementia risk reduction initiatives within communities, healthcare, and public health settings.

Dementia and Brain Health Symposium November 1, 2024, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
The program will feature Dr. Stephen Salloway, MD, MS, a neurologist who is the founding Director of the Memory and Aging Program at Butler Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.
This is an in-person meeting being held at the Waterbury State Office Complex at 280 State St. in Waterbury, VT.
The meeting will also be livestreamed.
